The king never expected the boy he sent on an impossible quest to survive---but Perseus carries Medusa's head in a leather bag, and he's come home to settle old scores. At Polydectes' celebratory banquet, surrounded by allies who enabled the king's cruelty, Perseus unveils his gift. In the ninth and final chapter of the Perseus Cycle, Harmonia tells the tragic story of how prophecy claims what it's owed.
